If your vehicle has been towed and stored at our impound you are required to bring the following in order to pick up your vehicle.....

Hours for vehicle release are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm Saturday 10am-12pm (2 hours). All other releases require an after hours gate fee of half the hourly tow rate.

Below you will learn about the various impound or stored vehicle types. If the owner of the vehicle is not able to come in you can download the power attorney below with a copy of the owners id.

Private Property Impounds

• VALID driver’s license

• KEYS to impounded vehicle

• Payment: All major credit cards (except American Express)  or cash.  NO CHECKS!!!

Impounds for the California Highway Patrol 

Check with CHP if your vehicle requires a release

Registered owner must be present at time of vehicle release with VALID id or drivers license you must have 2 persons with valid driver licenses present in order to pick up the vehicle

• Must have current registration and insurance for impounded vehicle

• KEYS- if we do not have.

• Payment: All major credit cards  (except American Express)or cash.  NO CHECKS!!!

Impounds for the Los Angeles County  Sheriff’s Department

Call Haddick's or Sheriff's office to determine if you need to obtain and pay for a  City  Fee Release. All vehicles towed by the Norwalk Sheriff's department require a release.

If your vehicle required a release and city fee the following rates will be charged. Cash Only

City of La Puente $168 Collected at the Sheriff's office

City of La Habra Heights $180 Collected at the Sheriff's office

Los Angeles County  $93 Collected at the Sheriff's office

City of Industry $50 Collected at Haddick's can be paid along with tow fee with accepted methods

• All impounds require release from El Monte PD to remove personal property from vehicle

• All impounds require vehicle release from El Monte  PD 

• EL Monte City Fees Stored $120.00 Impound/Arrest $240.00 DUI $500.00 Paid at EL Monte Pd 

• Must have current registration and insurance for impounded vehicle

• KEYS- if we do not have.

Owner’s Request Stored Vehicles

• Registered owners valid driver license

• Payment: All major credit cards (except American Express) or cash. NO CHECKS!!!

If you would like to remove property from your vehicle you need to bring the following...

Property release hours are Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. After hours property release requires a gate fee of half the hourly tow rate.

Only loose property will be allowed to be removed from the vehicle,. Anything bolted wired or attached cannot be removed from or off the vehicle such as wheels, stereo, speakers, subwoofers, roof racks, engine parts, spare tires, anything that requires tools to be removed.

 • Registered owner valid ID

• New owner with signed title to the vehicle ( pink slip)
